This is a fantastic series that takes me back to my teenage years. My only complaint is that, as of December 2023, when I write this review, the episode "Balls" freezes from 06:01 to 09:03 and then is full of artifacts after the 16 minute point in the episode. Unfortunately, in its current state, the episode "Balls" is unwatchable. I hope the content provider will fix this episode.

Never seen it before now / very interesting- only wish it was actually filmed in Alaska, been there.

With the mixed reviews, I was worried that the music would be different or weird with the iTunes release. My two concerns were whether or not the scene with Marilyn in Seattle and the scenes with Shelly singing while pregnant were going to be altered. After I purchased this, I skipped to those scenes to make sure they were intact. They were. I can’t give you a 100% guarantee, but it seems like this is the original soundtrack. I have been waiting for years for them to release this as a digital purchase. The world needs the lessons taught in this series.

This is in my top 5 best TV shows of all time. The characters and writing are so different and unique. Not like any other show. Humor, quirky, a simpler time before the internet and the fast pace of modern times. I’ve waited forever for this to be available.

This series is somehow quaint yet wildly sophisticated. Grab your favorite blanket and some popcorn and binge watch this absolute classic. ⛅️🍿

Contrary to what some folks are claiming, these Apple TV/iTunes version of the show does include the original music. From me spot checking a few of the episodes on my British version of the Blu-ray disks which does contain the original music I hear the same music on the same shows.

One of the best shows ever.

This was always such a refreshing fun and original show. It aired so long ago that the “it’s not the original soundtrack” complaints seem a bit silly at this point, and an unfortunate reason for anyone to give it a poor rating. The characters will win your heart, and give you a good chuckle.

We own this series on DVD and love this show. It's quirky and addresses common situations and issues without getting political or alienating half the viewing audience (unlike many shows these days). It's set in a quaint small "Alaskan" town (show was actually filmed in Washington) with a cast of lovable characters, each with their own faults and perspectives. I wish the show ended differently, but under the circumstances (one of the lead actors left the show), the writers probably did the best the could. Overall, it's a show that I can watch on a lazy raining day or after a long day at work. BTW, to the reviewers who complained that the digital copy is missing the original on-air soundtrack, this is true for the DVDs too. Apparently, there is an on-going dispute over royalties, thus the producers had to change the music, unfortunately.

This show is timeless in its humor and great writing along with superb performances from the ensemble cast. Glad they were finally able to get it on iTunes and tv.
