This is one of the great movies of it’s time. Witty delightful dialogue and super fun William Castle effects. (much better than that rotten remake) Unfortunately Itunes (or the studio) have decided to change the original wide screen format to 16X9. I think they over scanned it to make it fit todays TVs. The result is a grainy appearance throughout and less dramatic compositions caused by the cropping. What a shame that somebody thought that they knew better than the great director William Castle! Unlike past IOS versions, I no longer see a way to select the widescreen version anymore so I’ve requested a refund until the correct version is offered on itunes. I expected better than this from Apple (past purchases have been nearly perfect, with hardly any flaws even in older movies.) At least I can get the correct widescreen version on You Tube. Come on Apple, you can do better than this.
