Yukon Men, Season 1

Best. Show. Ever.

We lived in Delta Junction AK for many years and understand what these people go through to live. However, we had a grocery store and road access, we didn't have to rely totally on hunting to survive, many still hunted and grew gardens. Grocercies and gas in Alaska are ungodly expensive. This show sure makes me miss living in Alaska. Unless you've lived here, it's really hard to relate to this lifestyle. This is true independent living. This is what REAL survival is about!! Can't wait for another episode.

I love this new show, finally something better than deadliest catch.

This is a very entertaining look at life in rural Tanana. I am from the big city, Anchorage, Alaska, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching what it is like for these fellow Alaskan's. Their world is so much different than most ours, but the people seem comfortably familiar. I would love to make it out to one of these towns/villages and live for a little while. I love being out in the wilderness, away from the city and all of the hustle, and relying upon yourself to survive, or not. I highly recommend this show to anyone; I think that you will not be disappointed! I certainly wasn't, I got the free pilot episode and I downloaded the next two episodes after. You'll be hooked! The pilot is free, so what can it hurt? I guess memory space and time, but besides that?

dont live in alaska. Too much drama. OH NO were gonna run out of meat, well duh u live 200 miles away from civilizxation . It is your own fault
