Take two high-school nerds who can’t get a date, cross them with a modern day “Frankenstein” experiment and what do you get? The answer is the original comedy series Weird Science. In Season 1, Gary (John Mallory Asher), the cocky yet chickenhearted mouth that roared, teams up with best friend Wyatt (Michael Manasseri), a genius nerd with the soul of a poet, to follow the footsteps of Dr. Frankenstein and create life from dataports and megabytes, and what they come up with appears to be every red-blooded teenage boy's dream come true. "Lisa" (Vanessa Angel), their creation, is gorgeous, sexy, smart, outspoken, and has the supernatural power to grant the boys their every wish. What's more, she's totally loyal and devoted to them. However, in her all-out efforts to win them acceptance, popularity, and self-assurance, she's just a little bit . . . unpredictable.
