My Brilliant Friend, Season 4

Based on the bestselling novels by Elena Ferrante, this acclaimed drama series follows Elena Greco (Alba Rohrwacher) and the most important friend in her life – Raffaella "Lila" Cerullo (Irene Maiorino). After meeting as children in 1950s Naples, their story goes on to cover more than 60 years, exploring the mystery of Lila – Elena's brilliant best friend and, in a way, her worst enemy. The fourth and final season, "Story of the Lost Child," delves into Elena and Lila's lives as they approach middle age and find themselves once again residing in the old neighborhood. Against the backdrop of a turbulent 1980s Italy, and amid the turmoil of motherhood, career demands, betrayals, and disappearances, Elena and Lila each must navigate life's uncertainties… and the intricacies of their complicated yet undeniable bond.
