This documentary features riders competing at the 2015 Chisholm Challenge in Fort Worth, TX, one of the largest equestrian events for disabled riders in the world.     This is such an amazing documentary that tells a story of equine therapy. It is so inspirational to watch someone who maybe not have the ability to walk or talk, to ride a horse and show how much they love it. I encourage everyone to watch this film and bring some tissues!

    We went to the premier with several of the stars & their families in this documentary! It was so moving and inspiring. Several times I teared up from the strength, positivity, and courage of these riders and the grace, humility, and kind spirit of the horses. It's amazing to see the bond between the horse and rider. I'm appalled that therapeutic riding isn't covered by insurance agencies. We need to united together and let our voices be heard on this matter. This is a must see!!

    As the editor and one of the directors of photography, the process of making this film was literally life changing. It's often easy to make broad assumptions about people facing mental or physical challenges. However, it's incredibly humbling to witness the enormous challenges the individuals in this film face and overcome. The young people in this film are as close to superhuman is they come!

    This film is so so SO good! The riders are inspirational in their passion for life and their horses. I have never been so moved by a film. Anyone who likes horses with LOVE this film!! It is a must-watch in my book.

    This documentary is such an inspiration. Therapeutic riding is benefiting people with disabilities and their families all across the country. If you know someone struggling with a disability or a disorder, I highly recommend they consider equine therapy as an alternative to traditional therapy practices. Horses That Heal is awesome!

    I admit I may be bias, since I am the Director of the film, but I think this documentary is a must see!!! All joking aside, the heroes of this film are the riders and their families who I found to be inspiring characters and wonderful people on and off the screen. It was an honor and a privilege to make this movie and I hope all who watch it enjoy the film and get involved in supporting Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies.
