This movie was shot in Vista Vision, a wide-screen, high-resolution film technique. It deserves to be released in high definition! The aerial photography is the key to this movie. Releasing it in standard definition miss the whole point.

For it's time, it was a really great movie. While modern day younger audience will not get some of the over tones of Cold War atomic strategic fears it is still fun to watch. General James Stewart gives us a great movie. I might want to point out to iTunes that they do not list him as top billing! Ms. Allyson was a great actress, but she wasn't the main character!
