Gibson is a master of cinematic art. Simply superb and a very authentic view of the Meso American indigenous peoples before Western contact.

Mel Gibson is an alcoholic, repeatedly bigoted over a period of decades, ultra-conservative (except when it comes to his own life decisions) White man. Why would anyone watch this? If Mel Gibson is attached to it, it’s utter trash.

I looked for this film for years and finally it is here. The work is engrossing and in a real way transports the viewer to that period of transition. Great cinematography, actors that inhabit their characters...sit back and enjoy!

This is my favorite and their acting role is amazing!

This is a film where there is hardly any speaking and yet, the message is powerful. Mr. GIbson should have won the Oscar fot this film. Tirafe or not - My grandparents who are both hearing impaired watched this movie and LOVED IT!

I have been to the Tulum Ruins and Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins in Mexico and just had to rent this movie. Well worth the $3.99! I knew it was a movie and not a documentary. People... it was a movie... no history... just like most movies. I am going to have the 5 girlfriends that went to Mexico with me come watch it again at my house. You Go Mel👍🏻.
