A co-worker recoomended this movie, and I'm glad I watched it! What a awesome screenplay and wonderful adaptation!

We live in dark times. I have found myself drawn more and more to Christian movies while no longer watching the "big movies" out of Hollywood. As such I found this gem about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The acting and story are superb and I found myself swept along as the Roman solider who killed Christ on the cross with his spear becomes a believer and follower of Jesus. Highly recommended for older kids and adults. Too intense for young kids.

The best movie I’ve watched in years.

One of the BEST movies about the risen Christ.

Though naturally some theatrical liberties were taken, this was a pretty good portrayal of the death and resurrection of Jesus, from a Roman centurion perspective that had to reason with the facts. Great acting! Caution if young viewers there is violence and dead corpses.

Watched this movie on a plane ride - found the acting extremely impressive and the story powerful. Recommend this movie for all.
